We shot part of my music video for “Home” last Saturday. It was freezing cold day but we had a blast nonetheless! We threw on our coats and jumped around in between takes to try and thaw out. It was filmed by Tucker T. Dansie, Rod Santiano, and Chris Peck of The Corner Media, a Salt Lake City social media and music video production company. Rod was the only one that really prepared for temperature that day. He is the one in furry coat in the photo above. By about mid-day I was envying that furry coat big time! I learned really quick that there is a ton of work that goes into shooting a music video. I mean, I always figured it would be a lot work, but I had no idea until I actually grabbed this tiger by the tail with Rod, Tucker, and Chris. Things like style of video, location, wardrobe, gear, lighting, sound, personnel, transportation, and food all had to be prepared in advance to make this day a success.I have a completely new appreciation for music videos when I watch them now. The video should be done in the next few weeks and it is going to be awesome! So please check back for the the finished product!
