We had the fantastic opportunity to be a part of the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure last Saturday (March 12th). This wonderful event was created 16 years ago in Salt Lake City to raise awareness for breast cancer. More than 12,000 walkers and runners came out to participate in the 5k that wound through the streets of downtown Salt Lake. As the participants passed by the band, we were drawn in to the positive energy and excitement they had for the event. We had tons of people tell us they loved the music and that it helped pump them up for the race. We plan to participate in this event again next year, Race for the Cure 2013 can’t come soon enough!
