Kenny began his music career at the age of 12, when he first picked up the guitar. Studying rock and jazz guitar, he honed his skills as a performing musician by participating in multiple jazz duos and combos that played regularly throughout Sacramento and the Bay area. It was during this period of time that Kenny discovered his passion for singing. He began studying classical and popular voice, as well vocal jazz at the college level. This background provided the foundation for what Kenny has come to love most, songwriting. After developing his craft as a songwriter for several years, in 2002 Kenny co-wrote a country/pop single entitled “You Never Know” that went on to be published by Songcastle Music (ASCAP) Los Angeles. Since then Kenny moved to Salt Lake City and has had the opportunity to share the stage with artists like Greg Simpson, Ryan Shupe and the Rubberband, Jericho Road, Stephanie Smith, and Nancy Hanson. Those who have seen Kenny perform can tell he is very comfortable on stage and enjoys entertaining audiences. Kenny is most excited to announce the 2012 release of his first fully produced EP album, featuring the single “Home,” for which a music video has also been released. So stay a while and enjoy the music. And don’t forget to leave some feedback, Kenny would love to hear from you! Thanks for visiting!
